About Vivere

Meet Brianna Kraatz

MS, LPC-S, LCDC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with advanced certification in Women’s Mental Health and certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) provision.

My clinical experience spans inpatient and outpatient mental health settings in both New York and Texas. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with individuals who appear high-functioning externally but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted internally.

My Approach

Warm, Grounded, and Direct

Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and direct. I strive to create a space that feels emotionally safe and nonjudgmental, while also offering practical tools, structure, and honest reflection.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, individualized, and evidence-based. I draw from:

● Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
● Mindfulness-Based Interventions
● Psychodynamic Therapy
● Strengths-Based Frameworks

I place particular emphasis on helping clients understand how anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress affect the nervous system and health. Together, we use skills, insight, and support to restore a sense of safety and regulation.

A Passion for Women’s Mental Health

I am especially passionate about women’s mental health, including the emotional, relational, and identity-based challenges that arise across different life stages.

Additionally, as an LCDC, I provide integrated care for individuals navigating co-occurring mental health and substance-related concerns. I approach this work with compassion, clarity, and a harm-reduction lens when appropriate.

Vivere Counseling exists to offer therapy that respects complexity, values individuality, and supports meaningful change — at a pace that feels right for you.
